The small black sedan sped down the back road slicing through the fog gracefully. Inside, the passengers seemed to emanate an air of tense uncertainty. The driver clenched the wheel of the car with white knuckles while the passenger who sat next to him glanced quickly from the road, to the driver to the back of the car. The Spirit of Christmas
Ryan sat typing away at his desk, hard at work. Most people might have taken off early since it was the Friday before Christmas, but he had just this one task to finish off his list. After which he would have nothing to stress about leading into the holiday. So he continued to fly through his work. All that could be heard was the quiet, rhythmic tap, tap, tap of keyboard keys being pressed.
With a sigh, he took a break from typing and stretched out his fingers. Leaning back in his seat he stretched and yawned thinking that he could be out and on his way home in another 15 minutes.

The full moon rose to reveal a star lit sky as the wind chased away the clouds.
You ran through my mind as the trees sang me to sleep and the rocks hummed the harmonies.
And without warning you've done everything
stopped the storms and the pain

And together we can vanish from the world.
As you walked through my dreams, you left your footprints behind.
